What to bring

Clothing & Personal items

  • 3 or 4 Pairs of hunting pants

  • 3 or 4 Hunting shirts (Khaki / Camo)

  • Hat or Cap

  • Light jacket and sweater

  • Warm Jacket and sweater

  • 2 pairs of well-worn and comfortable walking boots with thick socks

  • Camp shoes or sneakers

  • Underwear

  • An elegantly casual outfit for dinner

  • Sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 20

  • Rain coat

  • Gloves and possibly a small scarf

  • 1 or 2 pairs of casual clothes for camps and travel

  • Personal toilet kit

  • Prescription and personal medication (anti-malaria if required, consult your local doctor)

  • Sunglasses

  • A good camera and enough film/memory cards.

  • Camcorders are welcome and remember battery recharge equipment and memory cards.

  • If you are so inclined to keep a diary of your hunting exploits, bring it along

  • Flash light

  • Binoculars

  • Backpack

  • Insect Repellent

  • Lip Balm

  • Power converter kit for South Africa, We use 220 volts in South Africa so you will need a power converter. This is available at most electronic stores.

  • Serial numbers / USA4457 Customs form – when traveling with a rifle
